Sergio and John
[Scene: It is after midnight. A guy is kneeling down bleeding on top of a dilapidated building with a noose around his neck. The end of the rope is also tied around the neck of a guy standing on the ledge of the building smoking a cigarette looking down with a sinister smile on his face. In the distance a storm is coming. ]
Well, well, John. Are you ready to switch? This is as far as I take it. Don't take too long and remember to relish in this moment. After all, this is what you contracted me for. See you in a few.
[The face of the guy switches from a sinister smile to crying resolve in an instant.]
I promised them. You did not think for a second that our positions would be switched like this did you Sergio? I thought about taking my life for a month. I was helpless as you slaughtered them. I have to admit that it was all my fault but I have read somewhere that "it is best to wipe out your enemy, lest you leave more to breed." Are you listening Sergio??!!
[The guy kneeling is heard sobbing, but completely broken down. There comes no acknowledgement from him]
Let's go to the other side. I will never see them again, not where we are going. You and I will experience it all together but it will bring peace to me to know that I avenged them.
[John jumps off the ledge. Sergio is seen jerking back but to no avail. John's weight breaks both of their necks and they fall down the building, with death gripping them before their fall.]

[John's profile can be seen in the candlelight. There are hundreds of candles lit up in a very modern living room. He is keeping busy painting something on the floor. There is a body of a cat seen with its neck slit open. As the camera zooms out, there is a pentagram painted on the floor with the cat's blood. John rises to his feet and makes a grand gesture and shouts]
I summon you Satan and demons of hell. Lend me your strength!!
[The candles flicker but nothing appears in the pentagram. John is disheartened. Then in the side view, on the couch, there is a dark figure in a tank top, flip flops and sunglasses.]
Jesus, John. You watch too many movies. So much theatrics. HAHAHAHA. Let me guess, you watched some scary movies and read some books on demonology. Decided to summon Satan ey?
[John is visibly shaking but has a confused look on his face]
Who the hell are you? How did you get in?
Here...here, little Johnny, I thought with all the candles and cat blood, you would at least expect to see me. Oh, sorry, the horns and wings and whatnot? Nah, we ditched that centuries ago. Hell also has a fashion sense you know? We adapt to the times.
But, but...
Oh, shush. Ok, so tsk tsk. You owed some money, mixed with the wrong crowd and got your wife and daughter killed, that about sum it up?
[John is looking down at the floor and falls on his knees]
You humans are soooo...what's the word I am looking for? Ah, stupid. That's it. You do all these things knowing the consequences wouldn't be what you want and merrily go along until inevitably it all falls down. I am sure you know Murphy's Law? That fucker was a clever one. Anyway, so now you want to summon us to exact revenge and you will give anything, including your soul for this to happen. Am I right?
Will you do it? Will you kill that bastard?
Tsk tsk, so cliche. But of course. You are a down-on-your-luck soul who would do anything. Who am I to deny you your entry to hell. Heck, I would gladly take you now but that is not exactly how it works.
How...how will it work? What do you need?
For starters, I will need your body. I will go to him and yadda yadda yadda and get you in a position to exact your grand revenge. I will give you the opportunity to actually do the deed.
Is that it? Will you help me then?
Oh, Johnny, I will help you.
So there is no price?
But of course, there is a price John, this is after all a free market isn't it? Nothing costs nothing.
But...what is the price?
Everything Johnny and you will willingly give it up.
So...[the dark figure suddenly vanishes and John is seen to shift back for a split second]
That's enough questions. You can see and hear everything John, so stay there and shut up. There are no backsies and no more explanations for now. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
